Yesterday was National Writing Day and Year 1 wrote some poems! They went on a listening walk around the school to see what noises they could hear. Then they wrote poems called 'The school is full of noises!' #findingthelight #flourishingcommunities @stchris_trust pic.twitter.com/W0fV5hA28K— St. Sidwell's C of E (@stsidwellsce) June 26, 2025

Year 2 have finished observing the life cycle of a butterfly. They watched the caterpillars grow larger, change into chrysalises and then saw the butterflies emerge. They let their painted ladies fly away today, it was lovely! 🐛🦋 #findingthelight @stchris_trust pic.twitter.com/VznsUSaizy— St. Sidwell's C of E (@stsidwellsce) June 25, 2025

Year 1 have been planting beans and cress this week. It has been a busy start to the half term! Fingers crossed that they grow so we can observe what happens to them over the next few weeks. 🌞💧#findingthelight #flourshingcommunities @stchris_trust pic.twitter.com/LoH3roW98o— St. Sidwell's C of E (@stsidwellsce) June 19, 2025
